The rate increase went into effect on Sunday; however, this new wedding stamp does not go on sale until January 27th. It is available in sheets of twenty, or blocks of four or ten. It is issued at the two-ounce mailing rate to accommodate the heavier weight of an invitation and can also accommodate other mailings such as oversize cards or small gifts that require extra postage.

If you’ve already purchased the 64-cent stamp, you can add the one cent Tiffany Lamp stamp.

If your invitations must go out this week, you can also purchase the Baltimore Checkerspot stamp.

For RSVP envelopes, use the Wedding Roses Forever Stamp (now being sold for 45 cents).

Of course, since this is a Forever stamp, if you purchased them before the rate increase, they’re still valid.
